The Dream Concert, the big yearly Kpop concert, is happening tomorrow. The two most important Kpop names in my life, Dong Bang Shin Ki and Super Junior, will both be performing, so I'm a happy camper. What's especially exciting is that this will be the first time in months that all 13 members of Suju perform on stage together. It wasn't even all 13 of them last year, since it was so soon after the car accident and Kyubear was in the hospital recovering. Last year's performance was awesome, though. Rella spent hours getting his hair done, and he looked pretty damn cool (see above), though I'm certainly glad he didn't keep that style for more than a day. XD
Rella, in particular, seems to be pretty excited about this. He's entirely changed his main page on Cyworld to be more about Super Junior than himself. His default picture is a GIF of all 13 members from the Don't Don photo shoot, his little blurb underneath it says "June 7th, Super Junior 13, A Petal and E.L.F" (though he must mean Petals plural, right? XD), and he has an animated background using one of the pictures from the photo shoot for the repackaged version of the Second Album. If there's one thing that's obvious, it's that Rella is very excited for the group to be reunited once again. The last performances with all 13 members must've been "Marry U" performances on TV, unless I'm forgetting something, and "Marry U" was MONTHS ago. Nearly half the group has been in China for most of the spring, and the other guys have all been busy, too, particularly with Kangin and Heechul in that Xanadu musical, Kangin preparing to shoot that movie he's going to be in, and the new subgroup, Super Junior H, working on their stuff. It's always exciting when the group is brought back together again, especially since it's so hard to get all 13 of them in the same place at the same time, especially sing Hankyung so often can't perform because of his Visa. This may not bring me the kind of excitement that Don't Don brought me, what with Kyuhyun making his comeback after the accident at the time, but it's still going to be awesome.
I've read of a rumor that Heechul was a possibility for hosting the Dream Concert, but I haven't found anything that says that's definitely happening, so it's safe to say that that is not the case, right? It'd be awesome if he were, though, especially now that his Inkigayo gig has come to an end. Sigh, that gig even allowed me to see him on TV at the Korean restaurant I frequent, once when Wonder Girls were there performing Tell Me and the restaurant TV was on at the time. Ahh well, there's always more for him to do, especially since he's one of the SM actors. I just hope this musical he and Kangin are going to be in will be good.
