I didn't want to have to make this post, but I feel like I should at least say this much. (For those who haven't already heard the news, if anyone, Kyuhyun's grandmother passed away this week.) I'm sorry for you and your family's loss, Kyubear, and I hope that you are doing alright. I'm trying to send you positive brainwaves to let you know that we're here for you, all of your fans. I hope you can feel them. (Yes, I actually believe in this. I'm weird like that.)

Recovery
Picture from his first Rainbow Romance appearance after the accident in '06.
My exams are finally OVER, so I can go back to paying attention to things that matter to me, like blogging. Thank goodness. I did SOME blogging over the last few days, but not as much as I would have liked to. A lot came up, because I had to do a ton of studying for my math exam, and I suddenly got a job interview - and then suddenly got the job. I have a summer job organizing and working at youth activities in the community! I love the people, it pays well, and it's gonna be great.
Anyway, math sucks. It really sucks. Now I have to recover from all of the studying, stress, and worrying. But it would seem I'm not the only one in recovery right now, huh? Heenim had surgery yesterday to get the metal rod taken out of his leg, according to the article that you can find translated in the latest entry at All About Heenim. He mentioned awhile back on his Cyworld that he could hear the rod (which was put into his thigh after the car accident he got into on the way home from Donghae's father's funeral two years ago...yeah, the stories this guy will be telling his grandkids one day) making metal sounds, so um yeah, it was probably about ready to be taken out now. XD It says he's going to need about a month of recovery from this surgery, which isn't too bad, though he'll probably get really bored...though he can update his Cyworld more in that time, which will at least keep me from getting bored. Perhaps I'll finally try to figure out how to comment on his fan cafe, in return. Anyway, I'm happy he's finally gotten that rod out of his leg and he can fully heal now. 'Cause you know, it's always good to see Sujus recovering from their car accidents...oh god, you know, it's really bad that the phrase "Suju car accident" would prompt, "Which one?" This has to stop happening, seriously.
Anyway, this year he's already had vision correction surgery, tripped and fallen because of his bad vision and injured his nose so badly that he had to have surgery on that, and now had surgery on the rod in his leg, all in 2008. And it's only June. (Again, the stories he will have for the grandkids one day.) Heenim, try to stay safe and healthy for the rest of the year, okay? I'm sure the time off while recovering is great for an idol, but we like having you around, and it's not like you enjoy being injured, and...just, be safe. Wear a helmet. Something. I don't know.
I'm going to go work on recovering from my mental drain, now. XD

So who's the fairy godmother?
The indispensible muishie of Youtube has subbed a couple of Heechul clips for our viewing pleasure. Thanks, muishie! These were actually uploaded about three weeks ago, but I'm only seeing them for the first time now. Yep, I'm late. Oh well.
This clip from MC Mong's Radio is great. Rella talks about his high school daredevil days, auditioning for SM, and the Four Seasons days with Jaejoong, Yunho, and Kangin. It's amusing how he got into SM; he really is quite the lucky bastard. Some people struggle for years to find success, but he kind of just wound up successful. Not that he was lazy or anything - he did take the initiative to look up SM and go out and audition. Gotta respect that. You could say it's somewhat of a Cinderella story, though, ne? =) The stuff about Four Seasons is amusing, too. I'd always wondered if Rella was the leader of that group, since he was the oldest, but it turns out they were like Dong Bang on that front and the second-oldest, Kangin, was leader. Ahh, Heechul. You and your antics amuse me to no end.
There's also this other amusing clip, where Heechul's on a radio show with Mithra Jin of Epik High, talking about Leeteuk. He makes Teukie sound a little neurotic with that whole white room thing...but of course we love Teukie anyway. Plus, he sounds very hard-working! <3
(Anyway, in Heechul's Cinderella story, who would be the fairy godmother? If we're going with the Four Seasons stuff here, I'm voting Jaejoong, since he's the prettiest...)

...So I take it they're cooking.
The Super Junior H MV for "Cooking? Cooking!" is now out. There really isn't much I can say about this video...you just have to watch it for yourself. The toilet thing is so unnecessary, though. Seriously, guys? I hate toilet jokes. -_-' I guess some people will be amused by that kind of thing, though. Some people meaning little kids. Happy are definitely taking over Trot's kiddie territory, which makes sense, since they practically are Trot. I'm going to try my best to stop thinking about how weird it is to see this being hailed as a whole new subgroup and just accept it for what it is, though. It's cracky fun, in any case, and some shots seriously remind me of the Haengbok MV, which is a plus. I guess for me it just pales in comparison to, say, the Super Junior M MV...why did I never do a write-up on that for my site, anyway? Wait, I was too busy trying to revive myself after Donghae killed me with that "what happens in China" pose. Nevermind.
...So yes. Cooking. Who's hungry?
(Also, KangTeuk going head-to-head for a girl's attention is pretty realistic, from the stories they've shared in the past...which, of course, plays into various theories of KangTeuk love, but let's not get into that just now. ^^)

I fail and know nothing.
Turns out Rella did MC at the Dream Concert (which I could tell from the GIF on his Cyworld, but yeah, why was there no real news on this?), and he's added a new entry to his Cyworld that just hasn't been translated yet. But a picture's worth a thousand words, my friends:
Click for the larger version. Ahh, the best friends are reunited. Life is good. <3 And yes, they are so hardcore.
I really do need to find some new sources for Suju and Heechul news, in any case. I get most of my info from LJ comms, but that isn't enough. I think I need to start checking Soompi more, but I'm not entirely sure where to look, and I should be able to find news in some other places, too. Any tips?

Himawari & Happy Heenim
His most recent blog entry was five days ago. He shared a picture of himself wearing dark glasses and playing an acoustic guitar (click the thumbnail above to enlarge), and talked about a little guitar show he put on for Sungmin and a couple of women whose names I am unfamiliar with. Apparently he impressed them until he attempted "Bohemian Rhapsody", which was a failure. In any case, he felt good about himself for looking so cool. Ahh, Heenim. You silly. <3 A translation of the full entry can be found at All About Heenim, of course.
Some downloads are no available for clips of the Dream Concert. I'm holding off on downloading anything until I can find a place to watch the clips I'm interested in in their entirety. I may go crazy and watch the whole concert, actually, since it's so full of artists I like. In any case, you can find a few cuts in an unlocked post at the supajunia community here for now, and I think that post will be updated with more. There's a full upload of the concert to Veoh, I believe, so I'm going to look into that later.

You Can't Always Get What You Want
Fancams and such of the Dream Concert performances are now out. I've only watched a couple of clips from the Suju performances, but apparently Super Junior H, the newest subgroup, also performed earlier in the show. I haven't listened to any of their songs yet, but I'm excited to hear the new stuff, despite not being too keen on the random switching up of Trot.
Anyway, Suju performed "Galjeung (A Man in Love)" and "Don't Don" at the show. From the clip I saw, it does appear to be the remix version of Galjeung (which would make sense, since that's the only version they've performed). I love Galjeung, but I'm pretty disappointed with this performance, because they cut out Heechul's part. My favourite part of Galjeung is Heechul's line in the remix version, because while it's a perfectly fine line in the normal version too, I love how it echoes and fades out before the "Let's go down to the basement" part in the remix version. Rella's voice echoing? Yes please. They've cut out that entire second verse part, though, opting to fade out and go to that part right after Yehsung's first solo line, so Heechul's line is gone. I think this has happened in a performance of this song, though what I remember getting pissed off at the most was the camera showing a view of the stage from far away right at Rella's part in one performance, so you couldn't even see him at that part. They just fail like that, these camera people. But the absence of his line really saddens me. *Sigh.*
The Don't Don seems to be alright, though. Apparently they cut out Henry's part. I don't know if they did that because he's in China or because they didn't want him to cause some kind of riot from the fans, but lord, I hope it's not the latter case. ELF need to get the hell over themselves already. In any case, at least there's some Rella solo goodness there. One thing I wish, though, is that these performances weren't lipsynched. Even when he doesn't sound right on, live!Rella yelling is always sexy. Ahh well, at least I get some Rella at all. You can't push him to the back for an entire performance, bitches! Not again. Not like that time they did that jazz version of "Marry U", a Don't Don dance break, and Galjeung, and you could barely even spot Rella...that was awful.
Anyway, I can't wait for some HQ videos to come out. If you want to see the fancams and backstage clips and stuff (which I haven't watched yet), just look it all up on Youtube. I'll link to pictures, too, when I can find them. I'm hoping for some to be posted in the SJ LJ comm soon, but I'm checking other places that I don't frequent, too.
